Health and fitness have been a big interest of mine for over 40 years. It inspired me to become a dentist and to practice in an ancestrally based way. I believe that there are lessons to be learned from our ancestors that can shape and transform our destiny –

PRACTICE

My practice focuses on creating healthier (and happier) patients through a comprehensive approach. I combine modern dentistry methods, nutrition, integrative, and wellness care. Being a General Dentist, and partner since 1989 at  Dental Associates of CT  - a large, multi-specialty group that includes Orthodontic, Periodontic, Oral Surgery, Hygiene, Cosmetic, Pediatric, and Sleep issue teams - allows me the opportunity to effectively treat almost all my patients dental needs under one roof. It also makes coordination of treatment between specialists much easier.

EDUCATION

I received my DDS from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in NYC, with a concentration in TMJ disorders. I also interned with the USCG in Alameda, CA and then received a Fellowship in Advanced General Dentistry at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

It’s important to me to be constantly learning as I feel it is the best way to serve my patients. So in addition to attending conferences/seminars to stay up to date on advances in the dental field, I also study other medical specialties. I graduated from, and recently became an advisor to the first-ever paleo-based functional medicine program in the world: The ADAPT program of the Kresser Institute for Functional and Evolutionary Medicine.

AWARDS

I was voted one of Connecticut’s Top Dentists by Connecticut Magazine in 2018, 2019 and 2020.

PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS
